AN ACT
to Establish Constitutional Violations

PREAMBLE: This act shall define how citizens of Firestone may file a lawsuit or otherwise punish individuals for violating the constitution and bill of rights. This act shall define civil cases and impeachments. This act shall amend C.III.X & A Bill to Further Recognize Misdemeanors.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:


SECTION 1:

(a) This act may be cited as the “Constitutional Violations Act”

SECTION 2:

(a) An impeachment shall be defined as: The process where an official may be removed from office, shall the house successfully impeach and the senate successfully convict. (see C.I.XII for the definition of an impeachment)

(b) A civil case shall be defined as: any matter filed by an independent person with due standing regarding a matter (see A Bill to Further Recognize Misdemeanors)

(c) A Bill to Further Recognize Misdemeanors shall be defined as: A Bill to Further Recognize Misdemeanors

SECTION 2A: C.III.X now reads: “Any individual may be sued. Government Officials may be sued for charges independent or prior to what they may have done in office. Members of Congress are obligated to act on impeachment should there be valid evidence and reasoning that a crime has been committed by a Government Official that comes to light. Government Officials may be impeached (or if a member of Congress, expelled) for failing to properly discharge the duties of their office. No Judge can willfully obstruct and meddle with another Judge’s process of court and/or procedure.”

SECTION 2B: C.III.X shall now read: “Any individual may be sued. Government Officials may be sued for charges independent or prior to what they may have done in office. Government Officials may be impeached (or if a member of Congress, expelled) for failing to properly discharge the duties of their office. Government Officials shall be impeached for violating the Bill of Rights or Constitution. No Judge can willfully obstruct and meddle with another Judge’s process of court and/or procedure. If a citizen (including law enforcement officers) violate the constitution or bill of rights of Firestone, they may be sued in civil court or impeached (if appropriate)"

SECTION 2C: A Bill to Further Recognize Misdemeanors, § 2 currently reads: “Misdemeanors shall be pursued by an individual party with due standing and presided by an approved judge within the Firestone District Court.”

SECTION 2D: A Bill to Further Recognize Misdemeanors, § 2 shall now read: “Misdemeanors committed may be pursued by an individual party with due standing in civil court and presided by an approved judge within the Firestone District Court. Violation of the constitution or bill of rights may also be pursued in civil court, in compliance with C.III.X, however, the party does not need to have due standing in the matter.”

SECTION 3: This act shall be enforced by the Firestone Legislature and Firestone Courts.

SECTION 4: Upon passage, this act shall go into effect immediately.

SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
