A Amendment to “Recognizing Crimes against Fire Department
Preamble: The Bill “Recognizing Crimes Against the Fire Department” shall be amended.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: Section 2 of “Recognizing Crimes Against the Fire Department” currently states:
“Obstruction against the Fire Department shall be defined as: The act of causing mischief around Fire Department personnel, and committing any sort of distress to Fire Department personnel.”

SECTION 1B: Section 2 of “Recognizing Crimes Against the Fire Department” shall now state:
Obstruction against the Fire Department shall be defined as: “The act of causing mischief around Fire Department personnel, and committing any sort of distress to Fire Department personnel.” The charge of Obstruction against the Fire Department shall be both a misdemeanor and a felony. First offense of Obstruction against the Fire Department shall be a arrestable offense (misdemeanor), and the set Jail time shall be no less than fifty (50) seconds and no more than 120 seconds. The second or more offense shall be considered a felony, with Jail time set to no less than 100 seconds and no more than 150 seconds.

SECTION 2: Section 2A of “Recognizing Crimes Against the Fire Department” currently states: Failure to comply with the Fire Department shall be defined as: refusing to comply with Fire Department personnel when they make a request of you to for the safety of others, themselves, or your own self.

SECTION 2B: Section 2a of “Recognizing Crimes Against the Fire Department” shall now state:
“Failure to comply with the Fire Department shall be defined as: refusing to comply with Fire Department personnel when they make a request of you for the safety of others, themselves, or your own self. Violation of this shall be considered a misdemeanor charge. Violating this law shall result in a no less then $50 and no more then $150 citation.

SECTION 3: “Recognizing Crimes Against the Fire Department” shall be defined as:

SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing both chambers of Congress, and being signed into law by the Governor.

SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
