A petition to prohibit all "Fire Fur" events

BOR.III: Citizens have the right to petition against the government or any other business or agency without fear of punishment for doing so. The government is not obliged to act on petitions, although are obliged to give a response at thirty (30) signatures, and Congress shall be willing to consider creating appropriate legislation at one-hundred (100) signatures.

Our state has been plagued by “Fire Fur” events, the annual unofficial furry convention. There has been 3 of these outrageous events so far within the past years, (Fire Fur 1 in 2020, Fire Fur 2 in 2022, and Fire Fur 3 in 2022) These events are hateful to our state and ruining our reputation.

In 2021, wierdo25 proposed a bill to enable the act of the Execution, Hunting, and Transporting of Furries. Which later was declined by the Founder.

This petition will aim to due about 1/4 of that, by prohibiting their annual furry gatherings within the State of Firestone.

bro really wants to sneak some anti furry petition to a roblox game, well, maybe take a look on more important problems than just users integrating with each other no matter what they are into

Also, how can you prevent users from hanging out in the game? Refer to Section I of the Bill of Rights.

There’s a reason why Fed shut it down. This goes against freedom of speech and also targets community members.

So im going to help you read and properly interpret BOR.III

BOR.III States:

“Any person subject to the state’s legal system shall be entitled to due process of law. Any person accused of a crime shall have the right to an attorney throughout the legal process, including questioning. Furthermore, no person shall be forced to incriminate themselves, and shall maintain the right to remain silent in all criminal matters. No person shall be subject to cruel and unusual punishment. Testimony taken under duress or without advisement of the rights in this section is inadmissible.”

Im not sure where it mentions petitions there, I must just be blind.

I think your talking about BOR.II - Freedom of Assembly and Petition

BOR.II states: “Citizens shall have the right to peacefully assemble. This right cannot be curtailed by the government except to quell riots, threats to public safety, or insurrection. Notwithstanding this right, incursion onto private property under the guise of protest is not protected. Citizens shall also maintain the right to petition the government without fear of retaliation. The extent of who can be petitioned and what is specifically required shall be detailed by Congress, though it cannot unduly impose on this protection.

So not only did you list the wrong section, you cited it wrong. You used the very old BOR (The BOR changed a couple months ago)

Anyways if we read it, you can petition the GOVERNMENT, not meetups. Even the one you cited only lets you petition governments, businesses, or agencies, once again, not meetups.

Please learn how to read and use proper legal sources next time.
