A Joint Resolution to Define Amending Legstations

Preamble: To stop confusing in Congress of what is amended and what was changed.

BE ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE HERE ASSEMBLE THAT:

SECTION 1: Any legislation being amended shall show what is being amended, this includes but not limited to amendments to the Bill of Rights and Constitution and must follow this Resolution.

SECTION 2: Amending a bill with a “Motion to amend” shall have to pass the other chamber if and any amendment that one chamber did not see must see the amended version.

SECTION 3: Amending anything with a bill shall bold, highlight, change the font, or underlining the added sections and shall strike out anything being removed to show other Congress officials what is being added and/or removed from anything.

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall be enforced by Speaker of the House, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker Pro Tempore, and President Pro Tempore.

SECTION 5: This Resolution shall go into effect once passing both chambers of Congress.
