A Constitutional Amendment to Enhance Resolutions

PREAMBLE: To enable legislation to use resolutions as a mantle


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1A: Article 1, Section 4, Paragraph 4 of the Firestone Constitution currently states: “Both chambers may pass internal resolutions for their respective chambers by majority vote to govern the operations of their chamber. Both chambers may pass joint internal resolutions by majority vote in both chambers to govern the operations of both chambers.”

SECTION 1B: Article 1, Section 4, Paragraph 4 of the Firestone Constitution shall be amended to state: “Both chambers may pass internal resolutions for their respective chambers by majority vote to govern the operations of their chamber or for other purposes as prescribed by state law. Both chambers may pass joint internal resolutions by majority vote in both chambers to govern the operations of both chambers or for other purposes as prescribed by state law.”
