A Constitutional Amendment to Enable Firearms Regulation

A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO ENABLE FIREARMS REGULATION


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1A: Section 6 of the Bill of Rights currently states: “Any and all citizens of the State of Firestone shall have the right to possess and utilize a firearm. Firearms may be regulated to maintain domestic serenity through appropriate legislation.”

SECTION 1B: Section 6 of the Bill of Rights shall be amended to state: “Any and all citizens of the State of Firestone shall have the right to possess and utilize a firearm. Firearms may be regulated through legislation.”

SECTION 2: Should any part of this legislation be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect unless all is struck down or declared unconstitutional.

SECTION 3: This legislation shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
