A Bill to Stop Misuse of the 911 System

Be it enacted by the State of Firestone Congress here assembled that:

Section 1: Misuse of the 911 System shall be deemed illegal.

Section 1B: Misuse shall be defined as; prank, spam, or false calls. As well as calls that should not be directed to police, fire, or medical services.

Section 1C: If the call is a prank, spam, or is not supposed to be directed to emergency services, and does not cause an actual response, the act shall be a misdemeanor.

Section 1D: If a call is false or otherwise causes a response that is unnecessary, the act shall be a felony.

Section 2: The sentencing guideline for misdemeanor Misuse of the 911 System shall be 75-150 seconds in jail. Upon officers discretion, the minimum sentence may be decreased, but the maximum sentence may not be exceeded.

Section 3: The sentencing guideline for felony Misuse of the 911 System shall be 200-300 seconds in jail. Upon officers discretion, the minimum sentence may be decreased, but the maximum sentence may not be exceeded.

Section 4: The following agencies shall be tasked with enforcing this bill; the Firestone State Patrol (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2803364), the Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2805388), the Department of Homeland Security (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2803370), the Firestone Department of Corrections (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2807789), the Firestone Department of Justice (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2803369), the Firestone National Gaurd (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2803372), and the Firestone Courts (https://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=2825030).

Section 5: This bill will go into immediate effect upon being signed into law by the Governor.

Section 6: All laws in conflict with this are rendered null and void.
