A Bill to Recognize the Act of Littering

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: A Bill to Recognize the Act of Littering shall be established.

SECTION 2: Littering shall be defined as, “knowingly depositing litter in any manner on public property and/or public waters as well as someone who is knowingly depositing litter on private property without the permission from the owner of said private property”

SECTION 2A: Litter shall be defined as, “trash that is improperly placed to which can be considered a nuisance or safety concern.” Trash can be including but not limited to, food, cups, or any object that can be reasonably considered worthless items of which are discarded.

SECTION 3: Littering shall be considered a Misdemeanor

SECTION 3A: Anyone who commits the act of littering may be cited for no less than (200) Two- hundred dollars, and no more than (600) Six-hundred dollars.

SECTION 4: All Law Enforcement Agencies with the power to cite shall enforce this legislation.

SECTION 5: Upon passage by both chambers of Congress and signed by the Governor, this legislation shall become effective immediately.
