A Bill to Recognize Local Councils and Governments

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

PREAMBLE:
At this point in time, there is no legal recognition for the existing local councils and governments within the State of Firestone, as well as any future local councils and governments that will exist. This legislation will outline the powers of these local councils and governments.

SECTION 1: Local councils shall have the power to establish their own legislative system, giving them the ability to create, amend, and remove regulations over their jurisdiction.

SECTION 1A: Local councils shall not have the ability to establish regulations over the entirety of the State of Firestone, only to citizens within their territory.

SECTION 1B: The Governor may, from time to time, with advice, ordain the structure of the local council.

SECTION 1C: Local councils shall have the power to establish their own infrastructure by creating or removing regulations on themselves (i.e. elections, etc).

SECTION 1D: Local council members that claim to have legislative power over non-local government Firestone Citizens shall be charged with violating the “A Bill to Make Impersonation Illegal” bill.

SECTION 1E: All local council regulations must comply with the State of Firestone legislations, executive orders, and any other regulation.

SECTION 2: Stapleton County (Stapleton County - Roblox) shall be legally recognized as a local council under the State of Firestone.

SECTION 2A: Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office (Stapleton County Sheriff's Office - Roblox) shall be legally recognized as a local government under Stapleton County, as defined in Section 2.

SECTION 2B: Stapleton County Fire Department (Stapleton County Fire Department - Roblox) shall be legally recognized as a##ocal government under Stapleton County, as d##ined in Section 2.

SECTION 3: Local governments shall be referred as, but not limited to, county emergency services, county services, county bureaus, etc.

SECTION 3A: Local council shall be referred as, but not limited to, all council members, council executives, county chairperson, etc.

SECTION 4: The Firestone Legislative Branch, the Governor of the State of Firestone, and local councils shall enforce this legislation.

SECTION 5: This legislation shall be enforced immediately upon passage of both chambers and being signed by the Governor.

SECTION 6: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
