A Bill to Recognize False Citations

A Bill to Recognize False Citations

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1: This legislation shall define and recognize false citations. The act of giving a false citation shall be considered to be a misdemeanor.

Section 2: A false citation shall be defined as: (The act of a law enforcement officer giving another individual a citation for a traffic violation or recognized crime (that is only applicable for citations) that the individual did not commit). It shall count as a false citation if a law enforcement officer gives a citation to another individual without probable cause (an officer knowing that an individual has committed a crime since that he or she saw it be committed or by having received sufficient evidence of the crime an individual committed. All arrests and citations conducted by law enforcement officers shall require probable cause), meaning that the law enforcement officer needs to see the individual commit the crime in order to know that the crime was committed by the said individual.

Section 2A: All individuals who believe that they were issued a false citation by a law enforcement officer shall have the right to sue that said law enforcement officer in the Firestone Courts; a civil litigation will need to be filed for all cases related to false citations. It shall be the duties of the Firestone Courts (Court Justice+) to oversee all cases related to false citations. If a law enforcement officer is ever sued and found guilty for giving a false citation, then that law enforcement officer shall receive a justification/punishment that will be issued by the presiding justice of that case that the law enforcement officer was found guilty in.

Section 2C: A law enforcement officer shall be defined as a member of the Firestone State Patrol (Firestone State Patrol - Roblox), Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office (Stapleton County Sheriff's Office - Roblox), Department of Homeland Security (Firestone Department of Homeland Security - Roblox), Department of Corrections (Firestone Department of Corrections - Roblox), or any other agency that has the power to issue citations.

Section 3: It shall be the duties of the Firestone Courts (Court Justice+) to enforce this piece of legislation.

Section 3A: The Firestone Courts shall be defined as: Firestone Courts - Roblox
