A Bill to Mandate Hazard Lights

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT,

SECTION 1. All individuals operating a vehicle must activate their “hazard lights” while having their vehicle stationary to the side of the roadway.

SECTION 1A. Those that violate the regulation set in Section 1 shall be charged with “Failure to use Hazard Lights”, being regarded as a misdemeanor. Violators shall receive either a warning or a citation of no more than 150 dollars.

SECTION 1B. The term, “Hazard lights” shall be defined as: The pair of flashing lights on a vehicle, used to indicate a warning.

SECTION 2. All law enforcement agencies of Firestone shall enforce this legislation.

SECTION 3. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

SECTION 4. Upon passing, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
