A Bill to Make Parking on the Median Illegal

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT,

SECTION 1. This bill shall now recognize the following act illegal:
Parking or idling on the median of a roadway.

SECTION 1A. Parking on the median shall be defined as placing a vehicle idle on a median or barrier of a roadway.

SECTION 2. The median shall be defined as: the reserved area that separates two opposing lanes on highways, wide streets, etc.

SECTION 2A. Parking shall be defined as the halting of a vehicle temporarily or permanently.

SECTION 3. The punishable offense, “Parking on a Median” shall be declared a misdemeanor and a person shall be charged no more than one-hundred fifty dollars (150).

SECTION 4. All on-duty law enforcement officers shall be exempt from this law.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

SECTION 6. Upon passing, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
