A Bill to make Failure to Yield to Pedestrians Illegal
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: “Failure to Yield to Pedestrians” shall be deemed illegal in the State of Firestone.

SECTION 1A: “Failure to Yield to Pedestrians” shall be defined as: “a driver of a vehicle failing to yield to a pedestrian crossing a road within any clearly marked crosswalk.”

SECTION 1B: “Crosswalk” shall be defined as: “a part of the road which is marked to allow civilians to have the right of way.”

SECTION 1C: Pedestrians may not walk into a crosswalk when oncoming traffic holds the right-of-way by a green traffic light unless no cars are present for them to safely cross. When the traffic light is red or a car is at a stop sign, pedestrians hold the right-of-way in the crosswalk. If no stop sign, or traffic signal is present around a crosswalk, the Pedestrian still holds the right-of-way. Pedestrians may not idle or stand in front of cars in the crosswalk or they may be charged with “Obstruction of Traffic”.

SECTION 2: “Failure to Yield to Pedestrians” shall be deemed a infraction in the State of Firestone if the pedestrian in the crosswalk was almost struck by or endangered by the driver failing to yield the right-of-way.

SECTION 2A: Violators of “Failure to Yield to Pedestrians” on a infraction charge shall receive a verbal warning or a citation in game no more than five hundred dollars ($500), and no less than two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) at the law enforcement officers discretion.

SECTION 3: “Failure to Yield to Pedestrians” shall be deemed a misdemeanor in the State of Firestone if the pedestrian in the crosswalk was struck and injured or killed by the driver failing to yield the right-of-way.

SECTION 3A: Violators of “Failure to Yield to Pedestrians” on a misdemeanor charge shall be arrested in game and receive no more than four hundred and fifty (450) seconds, and no less than two hundred (200) seconds in the state penitentiary.

SECTION 4: The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, Firestone National Guard, Department of Justice, Firestone Courts, and Department of Homeland Security shall enforce this legislation.

SECTION 4A: Firestone State Patrol shall be defined as: Firestone State Patrol - Roblox

SECTION 4C: Department of Corrections shall be defined as: Firestone Department of Corrections - Roblox

SECTION 4E: Firestone National Guard shall be defined as: Firestone National Guard - Roblox

SECTION 4F: Department of Justice shall be defined as: Firestone Department of Justice - Roblox

SECTION 4G: Firestone Courts shall be defined as: Firestone Courts - Roblox

SECTION 5: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passage.

SECTION 6: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
