A Bill to Institute Harsher Penalties for Illegal Firearms

BE IN ENACTED BY THIS CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Preamble: With the spread of unlawful firearms and the use of them to commit heinous acts, it is clear a crack down on illegal firearms is warranted.

Section 1: Section 1C of the “Firearms and Weaponry Management Act (Firearms and Weaponry Management Act (pt. 1)) currently states: “The act of purchasing, taking, or willingly receiving any sort of firearm or weapon from a provider not being a Certified Weapon Distributor is illegal, being regarded as a felony charge. This shall be known as “Illegally Obtaining a Weapon”.
Section 1A: Section 1C of the “Firearms and Weaponry Management Act” shall now state: “Any individual who obtains and possess a firearm without a valid firearms license issued by the FFC, or through a non-Certified Weapons Distributor shall be guilty of Illegally Obtaining a Weapon.
Section 1B: Illegally Obtaining a Firearm shall be considered a felony, and any indigual in violation shall be subject to arrest not less than 300 seconds in time, nor exceeding 500 seconds in time. A fine of $750 shall be permitted and recommended, but may be disregarded at officer discretion. Should a person be convicted of Illegally Obtaining a Firearm in a court of law, they shall be subjected to an amount of incarceration not exceeding two hours in time per offence.

Section 2: Any individual who knowingly and intentionally aids another in Illegally Obtaining a Firearm by transporting them to obtain illegal firearms, providing them funds with knowledge they plan to Illegaly Obtain a Firearm, or obtaining a firearm through legal or illegal means to then give to an unlicensed person shall be in violation of “A Bill to Make Assisting in a Criminal Act Illegal (An Bill to Amend "A Bill to Make Assisting in a Criminal Act Illegal").”
Section 2A: Should a person violate “A Bill To Make Assisting in a Criminal Act Illegal” in regards to Section 1A of this act, they shall be subject to arrest no longer than 350 seconds in time at a felony level. A fine of $500 is permitted and recommended, but may be disregarded at officer discretion. Should a person be convicted in a court of law of violating “A Bill To Make Assisting in a Criminal Act Illegal” in regards to Section 1A of this act, they shall be subject to incarceration no longer than 45 minutes.
Section 2B: Should an individual be convicted in a court of law or arrested for violating “A Bill To Make Assisting in a Criminal Act Illegal” in regards to Section 1A of this act, and have a valid firearms license, said individual shall be subject to immediate revocation of their license by the FFC.

Section 3: All law enforcement agencies with the power to arrest shall be tasked with enforcement of this act. The Firestone Department of Justice and the Courts shall also be tasked with enforcement of this act.

Section 4: This act shall go into full effect of law upon passing both houses of congress, and being signed into law by the Governor, or upon a valid veto override.
