A Bill to Illegalize Vessel Boarding Without Consent
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: The Firestone Criminal Code shall be defined as: Trello
SECTION 1A: The act of Illegally Boarding a Vessel Without Consent shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense.
SECTION 2A: Chapter 7, Section 3 of the Criminal Code shall be established.
SECTION 2B. Chapter 7, Section 3 shall be entitled ‘Illegally Boarding a Vessel Without Consent’
SECTION 2C. Chapter 7, Section 3 shall read:
'(a1) The act of “Illegally Boarding a Vessel Without Consent” shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.
(a2) The act of “Illegally Boarding a Vessel Without Consent” shall be the act of boarding a vessel without the permission of its operator or owner.’
SECTION 3A: This legislature will be enforced by all on-duty members of any Law Enforcement agency.
SECTION 3B. This offense will be arrestable or citable with a maximum sentence of 200 seconds, and/or a minimum citation 250$.
SECTION 3C. An offender may only receive a citation or arrest per offense.
SECTION 3D: Boarding of any Coast Guard, Marine Division, Department of Boating & Waterways, or Search & Rescue vessel will result in immediate arrest with a maximum sentence of 260 seconds for “Illegally Boarding a Vessel Without Consent” unless permission is given by its operator or owner.
SECTION 4: All law enforcement agencies members and members of the Department of Boating & Waterways which are on-duty shall be exempt from this legislature if performing duties requiring vessel boarding.
SECTION 5: This bill shall go into effect immediately after completing the constitutional procedure required.
