A BILL
to Forbid the Act of Perjury

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1.

(a) No individual may willfully lie in court nor in a congressional or governmental setting after having taken an oath or affirmation.

(b) Committing the act described within Section 1(a) of this legislation shall be known as “Perjury”, a felony crime.

SECTION 2.

(a) The phrase “after having taken an oath or affirmation” means to agree to/accept such
oath or affirmation, as follows, being either:
(i) “Do you solemnly swear, that you will tell the truth, and nothing but the truth,
so help you God?”, or;
(ii) “Do you solemnly swear that you are telling the whole truth, and nothing but the
truth, or else face contempt of court?”

SECTION 3. This legislation shall go into effect immediately.

SECTION 4. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
