A Bill to Establish Theft of Services
PREAMBLE: To create a charge for the criminal code to criminalize the act of not paying debts to people upon getting a loan, rental, etc…
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION I: Chapter 4, Section 15 shall be amended into the Firestone Criminal Code.
SECTION II: Chapter 4, Section 15 shall be named: “§15 - Theft of Services”
SECTION III: Chapter 4, Section 15 shall state the following:
(a) The act of committing theft of services shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.
(b) The act of theft of services shall be defined as getting service(s) from a licensed Department of Commerce service provider and not paying debt owed to them. This includes loans, rentals, etc…
(b1) There must be proof of mutual agreement or proof of there being reasonable terms to see what is required of the service customer.
(b2) The service provider must have proof of service(s) done and the amount of debt owed.
(c) Licensed Commerce businesses shall be listed in this Trello: Trello
SECTION IV: Chapter 4, Section 15 shall be classed as a Class C Felony and shall result in a 400-600 second jail time.
SECTION V: This shall be a court only charge and may not be enforced by any Law Enforcement Agency.
SECTION VI: This shall go into effect immediately upon completion of the constitutional process.
