A BILL
to Establish the StapIeton County Court

PREAMBLE
For far too long the State courts has had to handle county matters. Not only is this unrealistic, it puts more of a workload on the courts when it could simply be delegated to a lower court.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. There shall be a StapIeton County court.
(a) Such court shall have the ability to preside over court cases where the matter of
such case is only within the jurisdiction of StapIeton County.
(b) Such court shall be supervised of and effectively managed by the Chief Court
Justice, though on itself containing the following positions, all of which shall
be considered “major” or “primary” jobs – these positions shall be considered
members of the StapIeton County Court:
(i) a Chief Judge of the County Court, and;
(ii) County Judge(s).
(c) All Members of the StapIeton County Court must be nominated by the StapIeton
County Executive and confirmed of, with a simple majority, by the StapIeton
County Council.

SECTION 1A.
(a) Within Section 1(a), the phrase “only within the jurisdiction of StapIeton
County” and the meaning thereof is set by the Chief Court Justice, as such;
(b) The Chief Court Justice has the power to decide whether or not a case is within
the jurisdiction of StapIeton County, and should it not, it shall go to the State
Courts; although the state legislature may further regulate or amend this process
through appropriate legislation. No local council may further regulate or amend
this process.

SECTION 2.
(a) Further regulation regarding the matter of the StapIeton County court may be
handled by the appropriate fashion of legislation within the StapIeton County
Council and Government – though the state legislature may also regulate these
courts through appropriate legislation, and such state legislation shall overrule
any and all county legislation or regulation on the matter.
(b) All members of the StapIeton County Court are to be regarded as County Government
Officials, and are not to be ranked to the “Court Justice” role within the main
State of Firestone group, found here:

SECTION 3. “state legislature” shall be defined as the State of Firestone Congress.

SECTION 4. This legislation shall go into effect immediately.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
