A Bill to Establish Road Laws

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: All tourists and citizens of the State of Firestone are required to follow any road regulations imposed on them while operating a vehicle.

SECTION 2: Tourists and citizens are expected to obey all traffic signals, signs, and personnel (Department of Transportation, Department of Public Works, Department of Safety)

SECTION 2A: All tourists and citizens are required to use turn indicators when switching lanes, or turning onto a different road. Using hazards (both turn signals and headlights on) is required when you pull off to the side of a road, or are being pulled over by any sort of law enforcement. This is only in effect when one is operating a vehicle.

SECTION 2B: All tourists and citizens are required to yield to all pedestrians, when operating a vehicle.

SECTION 2C: All tourists and citizens are allowed to turn right on a red light only if they have made a complete stop and there is no flow of traffic coming the opposite way to cause jeopardy to the driver turning, when operating a vehicle.

SECTION 2D: All tourists and citizens are required to be on the right side of the road, unless otherwise stated, when operating a vehicle.

SECTION 2E: Any sort of crime committed in an area being worked on by a public employee shall be doubled in original fines, for committing endangerment to a public servant.

SECTION 2F: All tourists and citizens must operate vehicles in compliance to the Department of Transportation regulations. Failure to do so can result in the vehicle being impounded.

SECTION 2G: The crimes defined by the Firestone Courts shall be regulated and enforced by the Firestone State Patrol and/or Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office respective to the proper jurisdiction.

SECTION 3: The Department of Transportation, Department of Public Safety, Department of Public Works, Firestone Courts, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Firestone State Patrol will oversee the enforcement of this legislation.

SECTION 3A: The Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office shall not enforce this legislation that are out of their jurisdiction.

SECTION 3B: The Firestone State Patrol shall not enforce this legislation that are out of their jurisdiction.

SECTION 4: This legislation will go into effect immediately upon passage.

SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
