A Bill to Amend the “County Affairs Committee Formation Act”

BE IT ENHANCED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS THAT:

SECTION 1: Section VI shall be amended.

SECTION 1B: The “County Affairs Committee Formation Act” shall be defined as:

County Affairs Committee Formation Act State Legislature

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE STATE LEGISLATURE HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: SECTION I: The County Affairs Committee shall be hereby formed and immediately put into operation by the state legislature. SECTION II: The job of the County Affairs Committee shall be to serve as a primary connection between the Stapleton County government and the State of Firestone legislature. The County Affairs Committee shall advise the county, however, at the same time they shall be also be tasked with providi…

SECTION 2: Section VI currently states: At least once every month, the County Affairs Committee shall come together in session. The Chairman/Chairwoman shall recognize everyone to speak, and recognize themselves last. If anything is present on their docket, they also have the ability to go over such items.

SECTION 3: Section VI shall now state: The County Affairs Committee shall come together in session at the discretion of the County Affairs Committee Chairman. The County Executive shall be able to request a session in which the chairman shall be required to host a session within seven (7) days of the written request. The Chairman/Chairwoman shall recognize everyone to speak, and recognize themselves last. If anything is present on their docket, they also have the ability to go over such items.

SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing both chambers and signed into law by the Governor.
