A Bill to Amend Negligent Use of a Firearm

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1: Introduction

a) The Uniformed Control of Firearms Act shall be amended

b) The Uniformed Control of Firearms Act shall be defined as; The Uniformed Control of Firearms Act

Section 2: Amendments

a) Chapter II, Section Four of “The Uniformed Control of Firearms Act” shall be amended to state; Negligent Use of a Firearm shall be the act of using a legal firearm without malice. Any person perpetrating this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and condemned to no more than 120 seconds in jail, a fine of $250, or both. Should one be convicted in a court of law, their punishment shall be to the discretion of the sitting judge. Any person who uses a legal firearm without malice to engage in lawful practice defined in this act shall not be charged under this section.

Section 3: Upon passage, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
