A Bill to Amend ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts’

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

PREAMBLE: This legislation aims to correct the improper definitions for ‘guilty’ and ‘not guilty’ in ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts.’

SECTION 1. ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts’ shall be recognized as the following:

SECTION 2[a]. Rule 12® of ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts’ currently states:

“Hereinafter the word ‘guilty’ shall refer to actually doing/committing something that a person is accused of,”

SECTION 2[b]. Rule 12® of ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts’ shall be amended to state:

“Hereinafter the term ‘guilty’ shall refer to it being proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the ‘guilty’ person has committed the act with which they are accused.”

SECTION 3[a]. Rule 12(s) of ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts’ currently states:

“Hereinafter the word ‘not guilty’ shall refer to not having doing/committing something that a person is accused of.”

SECTION 3[b]. Rule 12(s) of ‘An Act to Establish General Rules of Procedure in the State Courts’ shall be amended to state:

“Hereinafter the term ‘not guilty’ shall refer to the failure to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the ‘not guilty’ person has committed the act with which they are accused.”
