A bill to amend “A bill to Recognize More Crimes”


PREAMBLE: The current definition of “Assault” is currently confusing and is causing officers to arrest those whom should not be arrested for Assault but Battery.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1.

(a) Section 2J of “A bill to Recognize More Crimes” shall be amended.

SECTION 2.

(a) Section 2J of “A bill to Recognize More Crimes” currently states: Assault shall be defined as: the action of striking upon someone else (attacking) with premeditation and malice.

SECTION 3.

(a) Section 2J of “A bill to Recognize More Crimes” shall now state: Showing aggressive physical contact to another person or attempting to cause any bodily harm injury (or to injure one in any way).

SECTION 4.

(a) A bill to Recognize More Crimes can be found: A Bill to Recognize More Crimes

SECTION 5.

(a) This piece of legislation shall be overseen by the office of the Governor, and enforced by all law enforcement agencies of the State of Firestone as well as the Firestone Courts.

SECTION 6.

(a) This legislation shall go into effective immediately after passage from both chambers of congress, and simultaneously being signed by the Governor.

SECTION 7.

(a) All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
