Why does Coast Guard respond to deployments in Redwood, etc?

I am very curious on way FNG CG responds to things like shootings and other stuff in Redwood, Prom, Arbor, or where ever else. Very unrealistic since Coast Guard is literally for water and you see Coast Guard F150s just driving around lol. I don’t know anything about FNG and their policies, but I am just curious on why they do this

They are called out last a last ditch unit to handle bad situations.

If you have a specific concern please dm me, @SteelTrigger , @NicoloSkrt or someone like that.

Coast Guard serves as a 2nd MP in a way. They have full law enforcement powers and limiting us purely to the lake would be a huge morale killer and inactivity booster

Hello!

The Firestone Coast Guard is one of the two “Military Police” organizations in the Firestone National Guard. As we’re apart of FNG we usually go where they are and conduct the same duties.

FNG:CG also has a division that conducts tactical operations under the SOCOM umbrella known as, MSRT. They can respond to wherever they are needed under deployment but will usually specialize in boarding yachts and dealing with pirates. But it is not rare that tactical units will call upon them to assist.

Well if we’re gonna talk about realism I assume you’re referring to the USA with one quick google search you can discover

“Coast Guard has full legal law enforcement power on any land under the control of the United States, as needed to complete any mission.”

But besides that point…this is Firestone. If you limit CG to just land there is literally nothing to do and no way to be a LEO if your borders end by the beaches. And it would kill the activity of my division lol as barely anyone uses boats unless its for a 10min trip to skull island.

Hope this answered some questions!

Its also realistic that you can aim your firearm in one direction and shoot a bullet at a 90 degree angle

DOBW should build a resort at Stapleton Bay to get more people to use the lake
