Think about this:
You come on-scene to a murder. You have no clue what happen’d or who was involved, but a criminal with an active warrant comes up to you and tells you everything that happen, and even provides evidence to back it up.
Your telling me you will arrest that person based off of their warrant when they just helped you?
I don’t think so.
It’s pretty fucked up, and shows who you really are.
Besides, I don’t see anyone yelling at me because someone with a warrant is acting chill and I don’t see a need to arrest them for that.
I believe in second chances, and 15 minutes isnt fun.

I just dont think arresting people with warrants does alot of good. Say they want to turn their career around. Oh shucks, they were arrested 50 times for their Warrant for following the law, sheesh.
If you violate a traffic law during a traffic stop, yeah, I’ll arrest you for your warrant,
Better yet, if you don’t tell me your name during our talk, then I won’t even arrest you.

At the time, the Constitution and BOR issues weren’t even thought of. I still actively arrested warranted users. My text defines me as a corrupt cop in which I dont arrest users with a warrant.
If a criminal helps you figure out a scene in which a guy murdered 50 people, are you then gonna turn around on the guy and say “Alright, now your under arrest for saying you are gonna shoot a guy when you have no possible way of getting a firearm”
It doesn’t make alot of sense IMO.
Also, Sharm, just stop. You try to make everyone seem bad. Trust me, I read the curriculum your taught in POST for 7 months straight, I know what the hell I’m doing on a traffic stop.
EDIT: To solve confusion, I don’t just never arrest them. I don’t arrest them for THAT scene, and THAT scene only if thats the only time they help me, anyone else can arrest them for that warrant, but I wont.
