I agree with this, it took me almost a month just to fail and be out of POST, to this day I still do not know why because I failed the quizzes the first time, and then on my second time I somehow passed despite using similar answers. So after that mess, I just gave up.

this whole post is so goofy. cops and crims both have their own disadvantages and advantages
the only ‘main’ argument here is patrol leos complaining about guns, fed isnt gonna give you all mp5s, get into esu,swat,fng,sert and so on if you want a better weapon
the gun system isnt amazing so theres always lag and desync (in which i am 99.9% sure its because of the weather updates in 2022, before that guns were amazing and lag free, literally)
patrol cops just gotta manage with what they got, which is a glock, shotgun and ar (fsp/scso has all 3, lucky you)
(also remember that crims dont spawn with guns, we buy it and/or store it in storage, so you already got that one up, while we can still load guns up to 7 mags which you can’t… so im pretty sure most of the stuff in v2 has a sense of ‘balence’ for crims and leos)

honestly, I agree a bit with this, but I think the main idea of the post is just saying that at least of the base guns LEOs spawn with should get a slight buff so they can be somewhat more effective in a fight against an average firestone crim with an ak7u. for example, the rate of fire on the AR15 is pretty bad, so a slight buff to it would be beneficial, making gunfights more interesting and more balanced.

i dont think its cuz of that. its just the lag and desync with guns is terrible as the server ages and more people join so guns like the g23 are even more slower
i remember the 74u in 2022 and prior actually shot so quickly like a machine gun, today it does that (to an extent) but its much more slower than what it was
before the weather update in 2022 and prior, the guns for all weapons was great, literally mo lag and the guns actually worked better.

Please note; I have not passed the 4th grade so my math is not good.
If you put FSP, SCSO, FBI, RPD, APD, and PDP you get 296 members. Lets take 2 out from all 6 of these departments (since both founders are in each) you end up with 284. That is still a large number of LEOs for like the 10 criminals we get.
Yeah, I understand not all of those 284 LEOs are going to be paroling at the same time. However, we still have more man power compared to criminals in a normal server.
It’s easier to replace LEOs than it is to get criminals
(Both are important but I’d rather have criminals have a advantage than LEOs)

fix hit reg please, I don’t know if v3 is in the near future (probably not) but since v2 keeps being updated why not just fix it, its a nice gun system but the hit registration ruins the entire thing

i mean yeah sure the cars can be an issue, but if you look at real life, its very realistic. plenty of people have faster cares than the shitty FPIUs they give to departments. its really a matter of picking your fight, which is the exact same thing real life departments do. sure, ASU may be a nice supplement when the weather is clear, but BOLOs are your best friend honestly. not to mention you can just have FSP camp the highway and intercept with spikes when they are spotted.
the application process I do agree with you however. in real life, one would apply to a police department and go through the full academy there. upon completion of such, they are considered a “certified peace officer” and are free to transfer to most other agencies without additional LE training. there are of course exceptions to that rule, but I’m sure incooperating POST more into LE agencies would make the process a lot less seamless. i think its honestly fine the way it is though.

This is really disappointing that you feel this way regarding the game, Im deeply saddened to hear that LEOs experience this, so I propose…
LEOs become a paramedic today! go through ffa super quickly with the amazing fun instructors then join an amazing department just like the DOH where the criminals become your friends because you fix them! also the cops love you aswell because you fix them too! you are everyones friend now! if you have a CFL you can even buy a gun on team and pretend to be a cop with the flashy lights and cars!
