Trainee Protection Act
PREAMBLE
The purpose of this piece of legislation is to allow trainees within primary positions who wish to join another primary position without the fear of losing their primary position, should there be any complication.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION I
(a) Serving as a “Recruit” or “Candidate” within the Stapleton County Fire Department shall be considered a voluntary position.
(b) Serving as a “Probationary Deputy” within the Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office shall be considered a voluntary position.
(c) Serving as a “Cadet” within the Firestone Park Service shall be considered a voluntary position.
(d) Serving as a “Department Intern” within the Firestone Department of Boating and Waterways shall be considered a voluntary position.
(e) Serving as a “Student Pilot” within the Firestone Department of Aviation shall be considered a voluntary position.
(f) Serving as a “Trainee” within the Firestone Department of Health shall be considered a voluntary position.
(g) Serving as a “Trainee” within the Firestone Department of Public Works shall be considered a voluntary position.
(h) Serving as a “Probationary Investigator” within the Firestone Department of Public Safety shall be considered a voluntary position.
(i) Serving as a “Applicant” within the Firestone Department of Corrections shall be considered a voluntary position.
(j) Serving as a “Academy Enlistee” within the Firestone Department of Homeland Security shall be considered a voluntary position.
(k) Serving as a “Department Trainee” within the Firestone Department of Transportation shall be considered a voluntary position.
(l) Serving as a “Probationary Trooper” within the Firestone State Patrol shall be considered a voluntary position.
SECTION II
Should any part of this legislation be constructed by any judicial body of this state to be unconstitutional and declared unenforceable then that part shall be severed with the rest of the act remaining in full force and effect.
SECTION III
This legislation shall be brought into law, given that it follows the procedures to do so, as outlined by the Constitution.
