Why can we not all just get along…?

I understand that the picture isn’t a major thing but like we have young kids here. They don’t need to be exposed to any sort of stuff like that being depicted by any person of any gender. Instead they need to be seeing cartoons from the Disney Channel.
Granted the slurs are also really really bad. Just be respectful of folks guys. Words hurt. Words can hurt even more online than in person (where you can see at least the other person’s reaction and be affected by it where online you can’t).
These reactions can have real life effects.
I’m disappointed in both of you.

What is NSFW about the pfp? I just checked, and assuming it hasn’t been changed since, it’s a light peek on the lips, they’re not making out. PG television shows, including those intended for <13 audiences display the same behavior (see Owl House by Disney). I fail to see how it’s NSFW at its core, which leaves me the only reasonable interpretation given skel’s other behavior that it’s the fact it’s not a heterosexual couple.

If the adjectives here were changed from gay to black and the slurs from “faggot” to the n word there’d be outrage. I grow very tired of people pretending discrimination and wanton bigotry and hate isn’t “as bad” if it’s against certain groups instead of others

Joking aside, we are impartial arbiters, as is our ethical bounds. And while some people in various offices in this great state may choose to disregard their ethical or oath-bound obligation to support and defend the Constitution, we do not. Due process doesn’t care about how unfavorable the allegations against someone are, and therefore neither do I.

So like since this is regarding sexual orientation, I would have to think the gay justices would be biased for the fellow gay. Similar to how if there is a discriminatory case on a religion, justices who practice said religion would need to recuse as well.

Recusals are for conflicts of interest or ethical reasons otherwise defined. As I state in my above post that I edited for clarity, it will not be an issue

I stand by everything I said. I apologize for nothing. I will continue to have my own opinions, which is a crime in firestone due to the snowflakes like danny, con, faith, addie, chloe, jade, and just about everyone else.
I find that hard to believe given your replies to this forum post on the situation. Seems like you already made up your mind and encouraged legal action so you could rule in a certain way.
