The Rehabilitation through Police Exploring Act
Preamble: The police explorer program will allow those going through the Criminal Rehabilitation Program to obtain more useful knowledge and gain better experience for their careers after completing the program. This act makes the necessary changes to make the police explorer programme an option for those partaking in the CRP.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: The “Criminal Rehabilitation Act” shall be amended.
SECTION 2: Section 3, Sub-Section b(1) of the Criminal Rehabilitation Act currently states:
“In order for a participant to complete the law enforcement pathway, the participant must complete three hours of assigned shadowing (in-game observations and following of a patrol) of any law enforcement officer while they are conducting their duties. The Board shall decide the law enforcement agency and/or officer to be shadowed.”
SECTION 2(b): Section 3, Sub-Section b(1) of the Criminal Rehabilitation Act shall be amended to state:
“In order for a participant to complete the law enforcement pathway, the participant must complete Firestone Police Exploring orientation, and three hours of community service logs (ride-alongs, explorer meetings, and any other activities approved by Firestone Police Exploring) with Firestone Police Exploring. The Board may set regulations on which law enforcement agencies may be shadowed as part of the ride-alongs.”
SECTION 3: These amendments shall only affect new Criminal Rehabilitation Program participants; current participants shall continue to work to the former standards.
SECTION 4: This act shall go into effect immediately upon completion of the required constitutional process.
SECTION 5: Should any part of this Act be declared unconstitutional or otherwise struck down, the rest shall remain in effect unless all of it is struck down or declared unconstitutional.
