Following changes implemented:

Free passage is ALLOWED UNLESS one of the following apply:

  • Suspect is facing violent felony charges/or has a warrant (such as murder, knife/crowbar assaults, etc.).
  • Hostages must be left at the scene.
  • Hostages must be left unharmed

Suspects CAN request officers to move cars, but cars cannot be moved completely off scene, it has to be a reasonable distance.
