The Mass Congressional Resignation of September 1 2018

As most of you know, Lieutenant Governor Virginian_State resigned yesterday.

Today, the House Speaker, along with 3 other Representatives resigned.

Now, to my point:

Knowing the current term will be over in less than 18 days from now, there’s no point of hosting House elections; given there’s a possibility that more congressional members will resign between now and when the term is over on the 18th.

Overall, this whole term has been a circus. Hopefully the next term won’t be too hectic.
