To start off, POST should only be accepting applicants who were sponsored by the department they applied for. That way, there would be more quality than quantity of LEOs long term. They should also be more dynamic in training; namely with HRS and use it more as general guidance instead of going by strictly one method only

As of right now it’s a closed channel.

I did it in respect of the recent resignations, because it saves general chat from being bombed.

When moderators are hired, the maturity issue will be fixed.

Make a rule which prohibits people who don’t have enough experience from becoming instructors

No…?

We hire people that are either top of their class or experienced within a department.

One of the issues is, you have Staff that have no idea what they are doing. Although that isn’t all the staff, you need to work on training new individuals (such as the JI’s) as they weren’t even trained.

top of class doesn’t mean anything

the county is 100% different from what it is symbolized as in POST

Staff training sessions are being brought back.

High standards are inbound.

I would say do the classic technique of hiring an old Director that ran POST successfully.

Since the goal is to get POST back on its feet.

Honestly, we just need people who know how to run shit the right way and most efficient. We are tired of useless reforms and bringing back people who have no interest in the group, we need to stop worrying about old Directors and old POST classes, we need to bring organization to our curriculums. We need people who can actually do what they say instead of speaking out their thoughts with no influence. We need… DevMartavis for POST DIRECTOR.

That’s my exact plan with enrollment.

We’re moving the form to the application hub, everyone who applies is allowed in (exceptions of criminals, records, etc)

We need our staffs fully trained and disciplined. If the staffs are shit then the cadets will be shit.

Ya, then you’ll meet v3 where they suddenly want to go through POST and the curriculum that took 2-3 fucking months falls to a flaming pile of dog shit.

Only accept those who were approved by the respective department they applied for to go through POST instead of having enrollment applications. People can easily falsify or exaggerate information

I hear this a lot and it’s something I plan on bringing a change too.

I plan on making staff standards a whole lot more higher, trust me.

Or my other suggestion is allow the public to send in an application or their resume for the Director position.

I only suggest that if you (Canine) don’t want to nominate anyone from the current POST administration.
