The Firestone Senate - what most of us thought

What the hell are you talking about? He has ran this department since before I joined about two months ago. He has brought the activity waaaaaaay up. When I started with this department, 99% of the time I was the only DoT on. I would wake up to about 10 pings each in both the DoT pager and the FES pager, entirely from LEO’s and/or DoT needing a DoT to come online, or needing additional DoT because they were swamped with tows. Now, he has gotten to the point that 90% of the time there are 2-3 DoT on besides myself. You are making your claims entirely off a speech, and not what you have observed yourself. That isn’t how it works. As a congressmen/senator you need to be constantly observing department heads and department HICOM any chance you get so you can see how they perform in case of times like these. You shouldn’t be waiting until somebody gets impeached or resigns, etc. If you had done that, you would see that elite is clearly more than fit for the position. And honestly, I don’t want a non-department member telling an entire department what is best for their department, when the entire department says different. If an entire department wants somebody as secretary, then you have no place to tell them otherwise. They have experienced how that person works first hand and have experienced the change that person brought about themselves, while you have merely read their speech, and if you did what you should have done, observed them. Also,

you and your fellow congressmen/senators are getting ridiculously mad over insults, however you start off your reply to somebody with an insult. What irony.

Is kid an insult? Is it?

All I can say is that we shouldn’t complain about the outcome if no one lobbied the Senators nor actually appealed to their reasoning.

In the context that you used it, yes it is. You used it as a way to describe somebody in a negative way, so yes, it is an insult.

It’s an ironic statement considering all of us are kids.

I feel like I have to say this almost every term. You citizens are saying yes when that one senator says “oh can you vote for me” or “vote me for senate!”. You never have to say yes you can always say no. When you say yes to some random ass senator candidate at the end YOU the CITIZEN get affected not the senator. Hell a state government official can’t be impeached unless they commit a crime. Good luck trying to impeach that one senator you absolutely hate.
