The F.C.C. Continuity Act

THE F.C.C. CONTINUITY ACT

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. TITLE

  1. This act shall be known, and may be cited as “The F.C.C. Continuity Act ”.

§2. DEFINITIONS

  1. The Firestone Criminal Code (FCC) shall refer to here.

§3. CHAPTER 8 AMENDMENTS

  1. FCC 8 §1 “Criminal Mischief” duplicate Subsection B shall be removed in its entirety.

  2. FCC 8 §2 “Battery on a Police Officer” Subsection 1 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §(2(a).

  3. FCC 8 §2 “Battery on a Police Officer” Subsection 2 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §2(b).

  4. FCC 8 §2 “Battery on a Police Officer” Subsection 3 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §2(c).

  5. FCC 8 §3 “Obstruction of a Tow” Subsection 1 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §3(a).

  6. FCC 8 §3 “Obstruction of a Tow” Subsection 2 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §3(b).

  7. FCC 8 §3 “Obstruction of a Tow” Subsection 3 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §3(c).

  8. FCC 8 §4 “Contempt of County Council” Subsection 1 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §4(a).

  9. FCC 8 §4 “Contempt of County Council” Subsection 2 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §4(b).

  10. FCC 8 §4 “Contempt of County Council” Subsection 3 shall be renamed to FCC 8 §4(c).

§4. CHAPTER 9 AMENDMENTS

  1. FCC 9 §1 “Contempt of Prominence Council” is currently listed as “§Section 1 - Contempt of Prominence Council”.

  2. FCC 9 §1 “Contempt of Prominence Council” listing shall be amended to “§1 - Contempt of Prominence Council”.

  3. FCC 9 §1 “Contempt of Prominence Council” Subsection 1 shall be renamed to FCC 9 §1(a).

§5. CHAPTER 10 AMENDMENTS

  1. FCC 10 §1 “Contempt of the Council” shall be renamed to “Contempt of the Redwood City Council”.

  2. FCC 10 §1(a) Currently states, “Contempt of the Council shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense in the City of Redwood.”

  3. FCC 10 §1(a) Shall be amended to state, “Contempt of the Redwood City Council shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense in the City of Redwood.

  4. FCC 10 §1(b) Currently states, “Contempt of the Council shall be defined as the act of obstructing the proceedings of the Redwood City Council as defined by their floor rules or other applicable procedural legislation or rules. Failure to abide by a lawful inquiry of the Council shall also constitute Contempt of the Council. Before a witness of a council inquiry may be convicted of this crime, it must be established that the matter of the inquiry is a subject that the Redwood City Council has the legal ability to legislate.”

  5. FCC 10 §1(b) Shall be amended to state, “Contempt of the Redwood City Council shall be defined as the act of obstructing the proceedings of the Redwood City Council as defined by their floor rules or other applicable procedural legislation or rules. Failure to abide by a lawful inquiry of the Council shall also constitute Contempt of the Redwood City Council. Before a witness of a council inquiry may be convicted of this crime, it must be established that the matter of the inquiry is a subject that the Redwood City Council has the legal ability to legislate.”

§6. CHAPTER 11 AMENDMENTS

  1. FCC 11 §1 “Contempt of the Council” shall be renamed to, “Contempt of the Arborfield City Council”.

  2. FCC 11 §1(a) Currently states, “Contempt of the Council shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense in the City of Arborfield.”

  3. FCC 11 §1(a) Shall be amended to state, “Contempt of the Arborfield City Council shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense in the City of Arborfield.

  4. FCC 11 §1(b) Currently states, “The act of impeding the proceedings of the City Legislature or obstructing a committee inquiry, provided that said committee is duly recognized in accordance with the law, shall be deemed as Contempt of the Council of Arborfield. Any individual who, when summoned before the Council, knowingly and intentionally fails to fulfill their obligations or who, having duly presented themselves, declines to respond to any relevant inquiry on the matter under investigation shall be deemed to have committed this offense.”

  5. FCC 11 §1(b) Shall be amended to state, “The act of impeding the proceedings of the City Legislature or obstructing a committee inquiry, provided that said committee is duly recognized in accordance with the law, shall be deemed as Contempt of the Arborfield City Council. Any individual who, when summoned before the Council, knowingly and intentionally fails to fulfill their obligations or who, having duly presented themselves, declines to respond to any relevant inquiry on the matter under investigation shall be deemed to have committed this offense.

§7. ENFORCEMENT

  1. This Act shall be enforced by all relevant parties.

§8. SEVERABILITY

  1. Should any part of this act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, the rest of the act will remain in effect unless also struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
