SwedishVic for Senate
Introduction
Greetings Citizens of Firestone,
I set today to embark on my journey back into the state directly. While skipping out on the House of Representative term, I decided to wait for Senate elections. Since my leave from the house, I’ve been working within the municipalities, especially Prominence where I hold my mayorship. I have been able to work with municipity leaders and have began driving us to success. I want to make a bigger push to bring municipalities on the rise.
Experience
My experience goes as followed:
- Mayor of Prominence
- House of Representatives x1.5
- Senate Assistant Clerk
- Chairman of Prominence District Council x1
- Arbor Council x2
- Redwood Council x1
- County Council x2
- County Assistant Clerk
- County Press Secretary
- Prominence Assistant Clerk
- Arborfield Clerk
- Redwood Deputy Press Secretary
- Redwood Advisor
- Department of Transportation Employee
- Department of Commerce Employee
- Department of Justice Employee
- Department of State Employee, Deputy State Archivist
Awards go as followed:
- Arborfield Municipal Award
- Arborfield Mayor’s Award
- County Executive Award of Excellence
- Redwood Municipal Award
Plans
During my term as a Represenative, I began a project to expand the possibilities of the county and modify parts of the IGA. I plan on finalizing this project with the help of fellow Senators and Representatives.
Another plan that I have is expand our resources for municipalities in any way I can. Being first hand to seeing what municipalities can do, there is certainly some aspects I wish to change and modify.
A bigger goal is fix up the criminal code. I tried doing this as a Representative, however, it did not grab too much traction. This term I hope to work with our Senators in getting the criminal code adjusted.
Conclusion
I hope to earn your support for this journey. Our municipalities and the county will not be ignored any longer. I will be working with the Senate, House, and our public to suit what is best for the state. God bless.
Signed,
SwedishVic
