A BILL

To Require a Forum Format Within the Entire County

PREAMBLE: Whereas, Municipalities and the County Government shall be required to propose bills on the forums for future legislation for safekeeping and organization.

This is not the official bill. The official bill has been submitted on a google drive link as the law that requires a PDF is still in effect. Should there be any differences between this writing and the PDF bill, the PDF shall be deemed as correct.

         By virtue of the County Charter of Stapleton County the Council hereby establishes that,


SECTION 1.

For short, this Bill may be cited as “Stapleton County Forums Act”

SECTION 2,

Upon passage of this act, this Bill shall go into effect as an Ordinance of the Stapleton County Council upon the completion of the legally required processes.

SECTION 3.

a. Redwood shall be defined by Article III, Section IV, Subsection B of the
Stapleton County Charter.

b. Prominence shall be defined by Article III, Section III, Subsection B of the
Stapleton County Charter.

c. Arborfield shall be defined by Article III, Section V, Subsection B of the
Stapleton County Charter.

e. Municipalities shall be defined as Redwood, Prominence, and Arborfield.

f. The Arborfield City Council Trello shall be defined as “Trello

g. The Redwood City Council Trello shall be defined as “Trello

h. The Prominence District Council Trello shall be defined as “Trello

I. The Firestone Forums shall be defined as “https://forums.stateoffirestone.com

i. For purposes of this bill, “that municipality’s respective City Council Trello” shall be defined as either the Redwood City Council Trello, Prominence District Council Trello, or the Arborfield City Council Trello, depending on which municipality’s council is submitting to which city. The bill submitted to that specific city must be uploaded to that that municipality’s specific trello board, and follow any legal process outlined by that respective municipality.

SECTION 4.

A County Resolution to Require PDF Formatting shall be declared null and void.

SECTION 5.

a) Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, and other legal writing pertaining to any Municipality’s Legislative branch, as prescribed by their respective Charter, shall not be accepted unless presented in a Firestone Forums post under the designated category (Municipal Legislation).

b) Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, nominations, and other legal documents pertaining to the Stapleton County Legislative branch, as prescribed by the County Charter, shall not be accepted unless presented in a Firestone Forums post under the designated category (County Legislature).

SECTION 6

Submissions of legal documents by any municipality must be submitted using a Firestone Forums post link to a corresponding Trello card on that municipality’s respective City Council Trello board using the provided bill template should that be present.

SECTION 7

Any piece of legal documents proposed before the passage of this act shall not be required to follow any rules outlined by this act.


SECTION 8

Any pieces of legislation, amendments, resolutions, or any other legal documents pertaining to the Stapleton County Legislative Branch must be approved by the CLRC before being published to the Firestone Forums.

SECTION 9

This bill shall be enforced by the Presiding Officer(s) of all legislative branches that are mentioned in this bill.

Motion to amend passed, adding:

Section 10

Should the State of Firestone Forums be unavailable to the entirety of any legislative branch mentioned in this act, the legal writing may be attached as a PDF to the corresponding card in that respective legislature’s trello board. This should be done prior to the legal writing being proposed to any of the specified Legislatures.
