There are definitely some really tall buildings in V3 compared to V2. Take the new Bank of Firestone for example:
The bank in V2 is a shack.

so this idea was brought up when I was developing for a different state about how they wanted the game designed. and they said that you want the capitol building to be the most prominent feature. this is available in real life too, ex. in Washington D.C. buildings can only be a certain height because buildings such as the white house, capitol building, and other political landmarks have to take presence over the skyline rather then other building
mayflower had the right idea for building a city, but didn’t have such idea in mind, because if im correct their capitol building is in lander.
but more importantly you got to remember that the geological location of the state was at the foothills of a mountainous region, and skyscrapers would just be topped by mountains, and wouldn’t be as good of a sight.
great idea though.
