Saltydrywater for House of Representatives

Introduction:
Salutations to the civillians of Firestone. If you do not already know me, I am Saltydrywater (hailey), and I am running for House of Representatives! I have been a member of Firestone for just about 6 months now. I am going to be very blunt with you all, as I think that honest and truthfulness is the most important, I was a Prom Councilwoman in October, but didn’t last very long. This was due to the fact I had gone inactive because of personal mental health reasons. I am putting this in here to clear up confusion, I was entirely fit for the position but I was going through a lot of my own personal things. With these personal reasons being cleared up now, I find it fit for me to be getting involved again!
Experience:
- Prom Councilwoman (if you can even count this)
- Proud business owner of Thoughtful Therapy
- Department of Transportation for about 2-3 months
I do realize that I don’t have much experience within Firestone, but I am quickly gaining more as I get further involved within the community. I also believe that I will be able to take on this position with my full potential because I won’t have anything else obstructing my will to focus.
My Plans:
As a business owner myself, I recognize and understand thoroughly how important it is to be understood and listened to. With this knowledge in mind, I plan to help out and meet with businesses all over Firestone who want to be heard. I plan to keep these businesses safe, and make sure they are getting what they need. Apart from businesses, I will uphold the responsibility to go to any congressional meetings. As stated above in my introduction, I believe that honesty is highly important when serving the members of a community. With this in mind, I plan to be as transparent as possible. Apart from all of this, I plan to advertise mental health when applicable because of how valuable it is and unfortunately how misunderstood it is. I would like to fight for members in this community, and make sure everyone gets the justice that they so deeply deserve.

To sum this up, I heavily believe I will be a good member of the House of Representatives. I will pledge to always serve and listen to the members of this state and provide help when necessary.
