So far every argument claiming that we should make people swear to God in the oath is subjective.

FFA forced cadets to add “so help me God” to their oath during graduation or they don’t graduate.

Legitimately In God we trust is on our Money, it’s in our oaths. Having the one word is not a conflict of religion. The cadets wanting to enter FFA should say it regardless as it is not a matter of them but rather the actual academy itself as a whole that we all say the same thing.

Literally this is my opinion is everyone has a choice if you can’t make a change to fit peoples rights and their choice in believing in god or not your not running your academy very well.

People can claim “oh my religion is right and swearing to god is common sense”. But that won’t save them from the courts. Because in the end, it doesn’t come down to the opinions, it comes down to the bill of rights.

my honest opinion is just let them say it or let them not say it; it’s their beliefs, and the literal word that caused this entire problem is ‘god’

ergo propter edit hoc if they believe in one if at all then they can say it if not it’s their choice to not say it

The fact that an oath of office is causing friction for… seemingly no reason is ridiculous. Not to mention the Oath is realistic, it follows real life as Firestone tries to follow real life.
