You don’t have to swear to God the same way Presidents don’t have to swear on a bible. If they wanted, Presidents could even swear on a piece of bacon. So if I wanted to I could swear to Satan during the oath.

Hello friend, the Bill of Rights is an interesting read and i highly suggest a man of power like yourself reads it to avoid lawsuits.

SECTION IV.

Citizens have the freedom of religion. They have the right to practice their religion free of government interference. However, religion which openly encourages or carries out crime shall have all relevant individuals prosecuted accordingly: although no individual can be prosecuted for simply associating themselves with a particular religion. There shall be a clear separation of church and state.

You can’t say uh no Kerbal. It’s a fact. The history of EMS and Firefighting was found on religious Oaths. Belief that we do it as righteous deed in Gods eyes. In history the US was found to escape religious persecution. You can say I am violating BOR4 but I’m not. Cause I’m not making the state be religious. I am stating a historical fact not to be taken out of context and defending the tradition of the academy. That has been a precedence ever since the beginning of FS. I am not forcing religion on anyone, but they all need to state the oath uniformly. Honestly, the bias is trying to change it cause they’re wannabe atheist but actually acting like God haters since Atheism is actually the belief that there is no God not that God is bad and we must remove it from everything. Everyone will say it the same as they always have in POST, in FFA, and in every Oath there ever has been or will be. Any forcing to remove the part of the Oath is bias, keeping is not as it has always been there and only a few people have a problem with it while most simply do not care as they realize they don’t believe that particular line; They say and the get over it.

We’re not foring anyone to believe anthing other than what they believe but to say 1 word in an Oath because if you wanna be part of my academy you say my Oath @NicoloSkrt

I am actually impressed your level of ignorance is possible. The only, physical, way, you could be more condescending and horrid is if you got to the malicious level of the Westborrow Baptis Church. You can’t force people to affirm to God, because some people, in fact 26% of the US population, do not believe in God, or believe in multiple. You can’t force people to go against their religious views regardless of “history.” You sir, do not deserve to work for the state.
