Release Regarding The Department of Public Safety, ET AL v. Straphos, ET AL

On the afternoon of April 13th, 2018 The Supreme Court of Firestone made a decision regarding this case on complexities and conflicts with current law. The Court decided that under the Bill to Establish Employement Regulations, specifically Section 2D, that Cabinet officials, or department heads, cannot hold a position in a primary department. Mentioned specifically by name were the Secretaries of Transportation and Aviation, but this does indeed apply to all cabinet officials, and those mentioned in the aforementioned section. The Court further decided that the bills amending the Bill to Establish Employement Regulations did not null the original bill itself or any sections, but simply changed the classifications of a few departments over time. The Court mandates that any primary departments terminate any employees that are heads of another department or otherwise conflict with the law.
