Greetings residents of Arborfield & Stapleton County! My name is PracticalThoughts & I am running for reelection onto the Arborfield City Council. Below I will list my vision & experience for your viewing.
My Vision & Plans
As your Councilwoman, I believe in being transparent by providing you with my visions & plans for the upcoming term:
- As your Councilwoman, I plan on remaining fully engaged with my constituents; the residents of this great city! I value honesty & integrity and understand that the public wants nothing but the truth from their elected officials.
- I fully back our Police Department, they do a tremendous job of protecting our city & are truly the guardians of this city!
- I will work diligently to respond to the questions/concerns of our residents & will bring them to the council to be resolved.
- I pledge myself to thoroughly review all proposed legislation so I can make an informed decision on how I will vote; I will take feedback/comments from residents as they are truly the ones who put us in office as councilors & their voices must be heard. I also consider whether proposed legislation would provide a service or a disservice to our residents. I will vote against any legislation that will negatively impact the residents of this city.
- I will thoroughly review all nominations submitted before the council and will determine if they are fit/competent enough for the position before casting my vote.
- I plan to do my part as a Councilor by remaining active not just in City Hall but also in the community by participating in discussions, sessions (in-game & discord), proposing/reviewing legislation & attending community events.
- I believe it is crucial to maintain a good relationship with the other municipalities & departments throughout the state.
Experience
Since joining the State of Firestone, I have been employed in several departments & have ran for a small amount of political positions in the state. I have also obtained several certifications related to the Fire & Medical field within the state which I will provide for your viewing pleasure below:
