Prison Checkpoint Security Act


IN THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF FIRESTONE

ON THIS 26TH DAY OF OCTOBER 2022

Mr. SirCalebXVI (for himself and Mr. Droow) proposed the following bill:


A BILL

To modernize standing criminal offenses regarding the security of the prison facility; to accommodate for correctional officer vulnerabilities.

Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. Title
(a) This Act shall be known, and may be cited as, “Prison Checkpoint Security Act”.

§2. Enactment
(a) This Act shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.

§3. Severability
(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

§4. Enforcement
(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

§5. Definitions
(a) The ‘Firestone Criminal Code’ shall be defined as this

(a) This Act makes no repealments.


§7. Trespassing Amendments
(a) Chapter 3, Section 8, sub-section (b3) of the Firestone Criminal Code currently states: “Entering into the areas marked in red in this or entering into any body of water in the areas marked in yellow in this screenshot, without proper clearance from authorized personnel of the Firestone Department of Corrections.”

(b) Chapter 3, Section 8, sub-section (b3) of the Firestone Criminal Code shall now state: “Entering into the areas marked in red in this or entering into any body of water in the areas marked in yellow in this screenshot, without proper clearance from authorized personnel of the Department of Corrections.”

(c) Chapter 3, Section 8, sub-section (b19) of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended and shall state: “Entering into the areas marked in red in this, or entering into any body of water in the areas marked in yellow in this screenshot, when the correctional island is under lockdown, without proper clearance from authorized personnel of the Department of Corrections.

§8. Loitering Amendments
(a) Chapter 3, Section 9, sub-section (b4) of the Firestone Criminal Code currently states: “Lingering/waiting in the blue areas marked in this screenshot and refusing to leave when asked to leave without proper clearance to do so from authorized personnel of the Firestone Department of Corrections.”

(a) Chapter 3, Section 9, sub-section (b4) of the Firestone Criminal Code shall now state: “Lingering/waiting in the blue areas marked in this screenshot and refusing to leave when asked to leave without proper clearance to do so from authorized personnel of the Firestone Department of Corrections.”
