Section 1:
ADMISSION & RETIREMENT

Joining The Academy

There is no special process for joining like an application. However, you should meet all of the requirements before sending a join request:

Be a Citizen of the State of Firestone
Have NO criminal background history
Have an account age of at least 120 days
Have no POST Blacklist, or PSB Blacklist
Be willing to take on challenging tiers with challenging Instructors.
Be willing to pledge activity into the Academy.
Be willing to pay attention, and respect all rules and regulations.

At any time if it is found you do not meet and of these requirements while in the Academy, you will be subject for removal. Your join request will be declined if you you do not meet these requirements, and you may be subject for blacklist if a criminal record is found.

Leaving The Academy

You are allowed to leave the academy at any time for any reason. You do not need to notify anyone. Simple.

However, if you wish to come back to the academy after leaving, you must be requesting to return within 48 hours of leaving. Any longer, and you restart. The POST Staff will follow the same rule, but will be ranked to certified instead of Applicant. Exceptions to this policy: Certified Members, POST HICOMM, Governor, and Developers.

Removal from Academy

You are subject to removal from the academy for violating conduct, and/or no longer meeting join requirements. If you rejoin after removal, you must restart the tier process unless an exception is made by the Deputy Director or Director. You may not rejoin if you’re blacklisted.

See Blacklists, and Appeals in “Cadet Conduct” for information on those two subjects.

Graduation

Graduation will be hosted ONCE a month during the school year (September - May), and TWICE during the summer (June - August). (continue to next page)

    2

Graduation will mark the end of your journey through POST. At this moment, you will recite the Peace Officer Oath, which is required to become certified. You will be honored after the oath has been recited by department speakers.

Process:
Photos: Hosted one hour (60 minutes) before graduation by the Director at Campus.
Pre-Graduation: Cadets will line up on stage in a divisional 40 minutes before graduation starts. Departments in an angled formation 20 minutes before graduation starts.
Cadets recite Oath
Class Speaker Delivers a Message
Department Speakers
Closing & Ranking

If you screw this oath up, you will NOT graduate.

“This is a pledge that you will withhold, and be held accountable to stick too. By going against the Law Enforcement Oath of Honor, will result in a removal from all your duties as a Firestone Peace Officer.”
-Founder FedoraMasterB98

Going against this oath will lead to a certification revoke.

If you CANNOT make graduation, you will DM the DIRECTOR your Oath of Honor in the format the oath is displayed in on the forum post.

Section 3:
CADET CONDUCT

Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Firestone POST Cadet Code of Conduct, here you will find all basic rules and many other things to help your experience in this Academy. All of these rules are simple and not complicated. Every single cadet should follow these rules in every POST Academy official server/third party network. If you have any questions about these rules contact a POST staff member.

Conduct:

Cadets are to have discernment at all times.
Cadets are to use proper grammar and punctuation at ALL TIMES.
Cadets are REQUIRED to have the uniform (or body colors) on them at all times at the POST campus.
Cadets are also expected to be mature as well as respectful at all times while wearing the uniform or on POST campus.
Cadets may NOT commit any misdemeanors or felonies as long as they are in POST.
Doing so will result in a POST-Wide blacklist and/or a DPS approved POST Certification removal (if applicable).
Cadets are REQUIRED to be clean shaven, no facial hair present, no glasses, shades, or aviators of any sort, along with this the wearing of sword packs and crazy/wacky hair is prohibited.
Cadets are also REQUIRED to have a realistic looking face, which is judged upon by the Instructors own discretion.
If a cadet is in the POST Discord they must follow the discord rules.
Cadets may NOT enter the POST campus unless a tier is being held for their rank.
Cadets may NOT drive the vehicles WITHOUT Instructor+ permission. Doing so will result in a 48 blacklist from POST.
Cadets are to address ALL THOSE SUPERIOR by RANK. (i.e; “Director” “Deputy Director” “Head Instructor” “Instructor” “Junior Instructor”)
If a cadet is seen wearing a FSP/SCSO/DHS/SCFD/DOC uniform and not in that department, or even any department for that matter, the failure to take it off within 48 hours will result in a termination from POST.
Cadets MAY NOT fool around with tools given to them during a tier.
Insubordination from Cadets is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

If you break any of the rules stated above you will receive the proper consequences the Administration decides to give you.

Dress Code

(policy on next page)
7
Due to the massive size of this policy, not all of it will be pasted here.
LINK https://docs.google.com/document/d/18aiJOtKyq0rotQPKkWF2_oXwDlH2xf0Df5xuqrk_tug/edit

When an infraction of the dress code is spotted, action will depend on the severity. For most offenses, a roblox, or discord message is REQUIRED before action. The Cadet will be given 36-72 hours to fix their uniform. If the Cadet refuses, or ignores the message, a temporary blacklist, ranging from 1 week, to 1 month shall be issued.

If a Cadet shows up at a tier while violating the dress code, a staff member must demand the Cadet fix themselves, giving 30-90 seconds to comply. If they don’t comply, the staff MUST ban the cadet from the server. Staff who fail to discover violations, and/or let someone “get a free pass” will face SEVERE punishment.

If a SEVERE infraction of the dress code is discovered, for example, an inappropriate, or hateful t-shirt, severe immaturity, or repeated violations, a permanent blacklist MUST be issued.

Punishment

Blacklists - The most severe punishment that can be given. Blacklists are given out when a severe violation of the code of conduct occurs, or when repeat offenses of the conduct are evident. Cadets who are blacklisted cannot rejoin the academy, unless the blacklist is appealed.

Type of Blacklists:
Temporary: Blacklist only lasts for a temporary amount of time. Minimum time is two weeks, and maximum time is six months. Per “Removal From Academy” policy, you must restart at Applicant after rejoining from a temporary blacklist.

Normal: Blacklist is permanent with no scheduled removal date. Appealable

Unappealable: Blacklist is permanent and unappealable. Never will be removed, ever. No exceptions. Criminal blacklists given starting at 12/18/17 are unappealable.

Demotion/Reassignment - Demotion of tier rank. This punishment is given when it is evident a Cadet has little to no understanding of certain material.

Graduation Ban - Punishment restricts a Cadet from graduating during the next class. This punishment is most commonly given to those who screw up the oath, have poor conduct at graduation, have little to no understanding of certain material, and/or fail to complete the Certification Exam with a passing grade.
