Port Authority and the Airport

I made a thread on this a few months ago but the idea wasn’t received well. But since the DHS is being abolished come V3, what do you guys think about the new SCPA department being responsible for patrolling the airport being that it will be an active part of the V3 game with new players spawning there?

SCPA Patrolling the airport

The Stapleton County Port Authority (SCPA) is an LEA that will be implemented in V3. From the little bit we know about it, it would be confined to a jurisdiction to patrol the seaport in Redwood within V3, and they’re armed and POST certified with the authority to arrest. But irl, port authorities also control other things related to transportation, namely airports. I think the SCPA should be able to control or patrol around FIA. Although it could be cool, I think that after a while it might loose purpose and get into conflicts with certain things, maybe since the airport will be in prom if I recall correctlly Prom PD could have an airport division like most metro cities irl. Port authority could also be a subdivision of SCSO since it will be a SC LEA.
