PREAMBLE
To better organize traffic laws and regulations.
Chapter 1. Main Driving Infractions
§ 1.
âReckless Drivingâ shall be an illegal traffic infraction (for the first offense) and misdemeanour (for the second offense and above) in Firestone. Reckless Driving shall be defined as: âmaliciously driving a motor vehicle with a disregard for traffic rules, which may cause an accident involving injuries or deathâ. Chapter 6. Pedestrians and their Infractions
§ 1.
A âcrosswalkâ is defined in chapter 3 § 3(e).
âJaywalkingâ shall be an illegal infraction in Firestone. Jaywalking shall be defined as: âwalking onto the road when you do not have the right-of-way, causing the hindrance of a vehicle or road userâ. Jaywalking shall only be a crime if the crossing caused a hindrance to a vehicle or road user, as mentioned before. Those charged with Jaywalking shall receive a $30 citation.

I agree with new laws in regards to parking but the changes to reckless, careless, and dangerous I donât agree with.

heâs nulling my hard work that I made legislating.

I think that a first citation for reckless of 400, and then the second being an arrest is too long. For most LEOâs reckless is the default charge for bad driving. (which I discourage, and instead encourage they learn the difference between different traffic laws) All this is going to do is create more work for the judiciary which they donât need at this current moment. This will not improve anything.
