Chapter I: Introduction
Hello, my name is OliverSteph and I am running for Prominence District Council. I have been in Firestone for about 1-2 years, the majority of my time being in Government. I started in the Stapleton County Council, making my way all the way up to Speaker pro tempore of the House of Representatives. More recently I ran for Mayor of this district, making one of the closest ratios in an election which I have ever seen. Even though I lost, I still would like to accomplish my goals, so I am running for Council.
Chapter II: Plans
As previously stated, businesses are my upmost priority and my plans still stand, no matter how much I must adjust them.

Work Closely with the State and County Legislature to address and fix issues within the District.

Create “The Prominence Business Program” which is a weekly program, primarily hosted by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Press Secretary to bring attention to both new and old businesses within the District, increasing the number of customers, and hopefully businesses which come to the District.

Work with the Executive Branch to address news organizations on all moves which occur by the District Government, allowing for 100% transparency.

Amend the City Charter to allow the District to declare a State of Emergency from 36 hours to 72 with the vote of the District Council.

Organize efforts to work with businesses such as Capital Gas and the Stapleton Power Grid to better organize repair efforts when needed.

Listen to Prominence Citizens on other issues which need to be addressed.

Chapter IV: Wrapping Up
Although this speech was quite short as I wanted to get a speech in before it was too late, I hope you can remember my dedication to my Mayoral campaign, a campaign in which I feel I would’ve made significant change.
