My name is mvd1son, and I am running for Senate!
I have been in Firestone since late 2019, having gained various employment experiences, and certifications throughout my time.
My current positions:
Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office - Deputy First Class
Department of Commerce: Bureau of Land Management - Area Manager
Firestone Aviation Administration - Pilot Operations
Current Bar Certified Attorney
Business owner of Outlawed Saloon & Co-owner of The Little Cup
My former positions:
Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office - Deputy x2
Department of Corrections - Correctional Officer
Advisor for the Arborfield Mayor during Devyfly’s term
My plans:
I intend on drafting legislation to enhance certification standards for primarily the FAA, and potentially other entities such as POST, DOH, and FFA. This law will ensure integrity and accountability by requiring thorough investigations and fair procedures before revoking or disciplining any certification or license, thereby safeguarding due process and maintaining high professional standards.
Additionally, I intend to collaborate closely with businesses within the state, ensuring they receive the support they rightfully deserve.
If elected, I will dedicate myself to actively engaging with the citizens of Firestone to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met. I will be committed to proposing and supporting meaningful legislation that directly benefits our citizens and focusing on practical solutions rather than frivolous bills with many loopholes and errors.
I plan to foster transparency, accountability, and active participation within the Senate, attending all sessions and making informed decisions that reflect the best interests of the people. This is something that a lot of previous Senators have failed to stick to their word with.
I acknowledge that my experience in the political side of Firestone is limited, however, I am willing to learn and gain an understanding of how it all works.
