More stuff / incentives for criminals

while I hate to admit it, criminals need more incentives to keep playing the game, the only reason the game is so inactive as it is currently is that there are never any criminals doing anything, just LEOs and regular civilians.

I don’t have any ideas on what even to add but a couple of things I thought about on the fly,

  • Bulletproof windows upgrade at an illegal mod shop, maybe it stops 4-8 bullets from LEO guns and then breaks
  • x2 dirty money payout gamepass

these are pretty funny but idk, maybe yall can think of more in the comments.

seems pretty fair to me and make the x2 pass a hefty penny.

Yes these are things that may contribute to increasing the criminals activity, but the problem lies with the egoistical and petty individuals who hold Law Enforcement positions. The amount of pettiness, egos and overall toxicity that comes from LEOs now is way worse than back in 2021.

2021 LEOs weren’t as petty, well you had some but they didn’t go out of their way to arrest for for little mistakes, accidents and etc. Friendship may have played a key factor with criminals, but other than that majority of the time, criminals and LEOs had shared love and hate relationship. Now, my perspective may not be the same as others which I’m more than welcome for somebody to correct me if I’m wrong.

Until the behaviors of LEOs change mainly for this generation of players, I’d like to believe criminals will refuse to continue providing activity for LEOs to do unless they cut down on the pettiness, egos and ignorant behavior also the “i’m right, your wrong” behavior. Keeping a open mind is also part of being lego cop regardless knowing who the person is and what they did.

If you want criminals to have enjoyment when they play the game then treat them with respect. At the end of a long day, there shouldn’t be any hard feelings between a two people or more playing this game over an arrest or anything whatsoever. If you want criminals to be elected to play the game more then have some decency and classic. It goes along way especially in a video game.

This is a fair point but I can’t relate to the whole petty stuck-up leo as I’m friends with the majority of criminals. Most of the criminals are nice ppl and it seems a majority of LEOs are mad at them because they are consistently ambushed and killed by them and simply just can not kill/capture them.

You’re not wrong but this is an issue with criminals and cops. Both sides play dirty and can be pretty nasty.

i wouldnt think that most cops have an ego (some 100% do) but criminals tend to be very petty with certain stuff like dps’ing, frp’ing, etc. not much fun when you get ambushed by a gtr full of barbies who then ltaa or rtaa half the time leading to no quality rp

I like the idea but at the same time I’m also like ehhh because here’s why;

Criminals have a lot of advantages with their automatics and cars that go 120-130 sps. So giving them bulletproof glass just makes it so they are pretty much unstoppable. Adding on, the x2 dirty money payout would make it easier for them to get stuff that’d make it balance heavily for the crims considering the criminal community will get the game pass so there’d go the balancing question. Maybe to combat the incentives would be to do what majority suggested which would be adding a functional criminal base.

I’ve also thought about the civilian side of things because they really have nothing cool to actually do. Based upon my conversations in general chat, Clark has a lot of civilian incentives that brings upon activity. Such as trucking which is a popular one to which I had suggested before. In addition, we have all these houses that could get some incentive to actually own and such which can make crims have stash houses (just thought of that now). However I feel that the game needs something out of the box rather than traditional small upgrades. Such as possibly removing the bail system and replace it with a set prison schedule where certain doors open for that designed activity, which would bring back doc incentives.

In conclusion the thought of your ideas are not bad but they could be improved to balance out the law enforcement and crim situation as well as bring a civilian balance to which thats lacked severely.

The only advantage criminals have are cars that go 10-20 sps faster than cops. If you’re lucky enough to even afford one.

Guns are expensive and so is ammo. Once you die you lose everything in your inventory. You can rob houses but cops are always going to respond so that is pointless. I thought cops had to announce when they respond to those calls but they don’t. The store robbing minigame is also unnecessarily hard and expensive.

Then when you’re caught you are stuck in prison for 15 minutes plus for however long a cop stalls to arrest you (usually for 10 minutes). The scanner game pass is stupid because you can’t even see the tactical channel (which should be the entire reason for buying the game pass). Almost every pursuit ends with a cop ramming into you, but that’s okay, because people ramming into your car isn’t FRP as long as they are cops.

So much feels rigged against criminals that I stopped playing and don’t have any interest in the game anymore. And the extreme pettiness from cops has only added to it.

This is why we need a built in prison schedule! The prison is lacking so much. R$25 bail basically killed doc incentive tbh

a criminal base is pointless, it would simply get camped by LEOs and tip the game even further in favour of cops.

cool but none of that is relevant to what this thread is about

A DOC update would do wonders for cops and criminals. If you scrapped bail and made escaping reasonably possible it would make the game more fun for criminals and give DOC a greater purpose than guarding the gate all the time. V2 currently offers no feasible way to escape prison without breaking game rules.
