Mega Election Security Act
This act aims to secure our congressional elections and maintain integrity within our government.

Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
§1. Title
(a) This act shall be known, and may be cited as, the “Mega Election Security Act”
§2. Enactment
(a) This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon completing the processes constitutionally required.
§3. Severability
(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
§4. Enforcement
(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.
§5. Definitions
(a) The Elections Act shall be referred to as the following: The Elections Act
§6. Changes
(a) Section IV(d) of The Elections Act currently states, “Should a candidate have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, or an outstanding arrest warrant for a felony offense issued, the election sponsor must disqualify the candidate.”
(b) Section IV(d) of The Elections Act shall be amended to state, “Should a candidate, within 30 days prior to the date the voting begins, have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, or an outstanding arrest warrant for a felony offense issued, the election sponsor must disqualify the candidate.”
(c) Section V(i) of The Elections Act currently states, “To “support” a candidate is to voice support for them in a reply to their published speech. An individual may support any number of candidates, but if an individual supports the same candidate multiple times only one shall be counted.”
(d) Section V(i) of The Elections Act shall be amended to state, “To “support” a candidate is to voice support for them in a reply to their published speech. An individual may support any number of candidates, but if an individual supports the same candidate multiple times only one shall be counted. Candidates may include a maximum of 3 screenshots of support/signatures taken from Discord messages to count towards their total number of supporters. Beyond this, one must reply to a candidate’s published speech on the forums directly for it to be considered valid support/signatures”
(e) Section V(k) of The Elections Act shall be added and it shall state, “Candidates must receive either a signature/support from at least 1 sitting member of congress or an additional 5 signatures above the required number as outlined by the election sponsor. If the candidate fails to satisfy this requirement by the time voting begins, the candidate shall not be allowed on the ballot.”
